The form of vitamin K2 we use, MK-7 (menaquinone-7), is the most biologically active form. It remains in the bloodstream for a longer period of time and is thus more bioavailable to the body. Vitamin K2 helps prevent cardiovascular disease and affects calcium metabolism (it directs calcium deposition in teeth and bones, preventing its accumulation in soft tissues).
