  • Why is it so important to choose the right form of vitamin K?
    There are several types of Vitamin K2, menaquinones, differing in their chain length and their biological activity (MK4 - MK10). In supplements are usually used forms MK-4 (synthetic) and MK-7 (natural, from natto). MK-7 is considered the best source of vitamin K, showing highest activity in humans than vitamin K2 MK-4. Higher efficacy of MK-7 is due to its better bioavailability and longer half-life compared to other homologs.
  • What is difference in trans/cis K2 structure?
    All trans = all bioactive. MK-7 can exist as geometric isomers that can occur in the cis, trans, and cis/trans forms, however only all‑trans remains the bioactive substance. Thanks to more than 99% all-trans configuration we can guarantee high purity and the highest possible bioavailability of K2MK7.
