    Zinc (Zinc Bisglycinate)

    The chelated form of zinc (zinc bisglycinate) is a specific structure that is characterized by excellent absorption. Glycine molecules (referred to as chelating agents) surround the zinc, protecting it within the structure and preventing unwanted interaction of the mineral with other compounds such as phytates or dietary fiber.

    Copper contributes to iron absorption and normal skin and hair pigmentation. It promotes immune health and protects cells from oxidative stress. Copper also positively influences nervous system functioning and energy metabolism.

    A food supplement is not replacement for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Not suitable for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women. In more sensitive individuals, zinc can cause nausea when consumed on an empty stomach, in this case you can take it at least 2 hours after the last meal. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.

    • Why is bisglycinate zinc preferable supplement form?
      It is a special chelate form for enhanced absorption without gastrointestinal side effects. The glycine molecules (called chelate agents) wrap around and protect zinc at the center of the chelate, helping prevent the mineral from interacting with other compounds like phytates or fiber. This means that zinc is delivered to the site of absorption in the small intestine.
    • When should Zinc supplement be used?
      Zinc supplement is most effective when used on an empty stomach, ideally about 45 minutes before or 2 hours after meal. It is possible to use it before a sports performance, if at least 2 hours have passed since the last meal. The absorption of zinc can be reduced by phytates, fiber, iron and alcohol.
    • Can I overdose on zinc supplement?
      Studies showed that the maximum daily amount of 30 mg of zinc is safe. Our product contains 15mg of zinc, which is the recommended daily amount.
